[Volunteers_fosm] Paint Oak Flat Restroom, Thursday, July 8

Hello Everyone,

On Thursday, July 8, the paint crew will paint the exterior wood surfaces of one of the restrooms with a new metal roof in Oak Flat Reservation Picnic Area. The walls of the structure are slump blocks, but the fascia and exposed beams are wood that has not been painted in many years.

Paint and all equipment will be provided. Wear “paint” clothes.

Meet at 8 am at the FOSM Guard Station behind the ranger station. Bring lunch, snacks, and drinks. Wear boots with slip-resistant soles.

We are planning to do this work on Thursday, because rain is forecast for all the other days.
