Hello Everyone,

A report of the installation of drip edges on the gable ends of the Yucca Site picnic shelter roof in Oak Flat Picnic Area is presented in the attached Word document.

Next Tuesday, the paint crew will begin a project to paint the exterior wood on the three masonry rest rooms in the Oak Flat Picnic Area.

For various reasons, the FOSM paint crew is down to only two volunteers. If you enjoy painting, please consider joining the crew each Tuesday. A typical project includes using steel brushes and scrapers to remove flaking paint and applying a primer coat and a final coat of USFS brown paint. It is usually not necessary to climb ladders.

We restore and preserve wooden surfaces and improve the appearance of SRD structures.

Also, we remove graffiti, especially at Juan Tabo Picnic Area and La Luz Trailhead.
