[Volunteers_fosm] Amended FOSM Project Announcement for Wed., July 19

Hello Everyone,

Don Carnicom has fabricated a new kiosk board for the entrance at Doc Long PA. The old one was removed due to rotten wood. The completed board and information panels are very heavy. The assembly is on his trailer, and he needs help unloading it and maybe  installing it on the posts. He has requested that the volunteers who work at Nine Mile PA old highway tomorrow stop and help him deal with this board and panels. We will decide a time to meet tomorrow.
On Wednesday, July 19, the FOSM project will again be at the Old Highway adjacent to Nine Mile Picnic Area. The project leaders will be Lou Romero and Sam Beard. With a crew of 8 to 10 volunteers, we should be able to complete the following goal:

Haul Three Dump Trailer Loads to Woodlot – The wood will not be stacked in order to more quickly  load the trailer.
Please meet at the FOSM Guard Station at 8 am or, if it is more convenient for you, drive directly to Nine Mile Picnic Area and plan to arrive at 8:45 am. Please park below the wood piles, on both sides of the road, leaving a bike lane between them and plenty of room to negotiate backing the dump trailer to the split wood piles.
Wear long pants, a long sleeve shirt, and sturdy boots with slip-resistant soles. Bring work gloves, snacks, lunch, drinks, hard hat, and eye and ear protection.
