Topic - Overview of the International Mountain Medicine Center <https://hsc.unm.edu/medicine/departments/emergency-medicine/programs/prehospital-care/immc/>—who they are and what they do—paired with a presentation of the Tram rescue in which IMMC was involved on New Years Day 2022. 

Speaker - Trevor Mayschak is a licensed paramedic with both a B.S. in Emergency Medical Services and a M.S. in Exercise Science from the University of New Mexico. He specializes in wilderness medicine and mountain rescue operations, with extensive rescue experience at Grand Canyon National Park as well as throughout the State of New Mexico. Trevor has been teaching at the University of New Mexico International Mountain Medicine Center since 2013, where he enjoys integrating high-level medicine with the logistical challenges of mountain rescue operations with the ultimate goal of improving patient outcomes. In his spare time, he can often be found outside enjoying the Sandia Wilderness with his wife and two huskies.
