In messages a few days ago, I announced a new CATIP webpage <https://friendsofthesandias.org/projects/projects-trail-building/cienega-armijo-trails-improvement-project-catip/> and requested winter pictures for the Photos and Videos webpage <https://friendsofthesandias.org/photos/>. Anticipating lots of great photos once winter comes, I’ve revamped the latter into a set of webpages.

I was so impressed by the wonderful nature photos with informative captions Betsy and Bob Galloway included in his CATIP reports that I have created a new webpage, Betsy Galloway’s photos <https://friendsofthesandias.org/photos/betsy-galloways-catip-photos/>. When I asked Betsy whether she or Bob was the botanist, she replied:

Bob and I really enjoyed working on the trail reports together. After reviewing and selecting which pictures to use, we consulted "Wildflowers of the Northern and Central Mountains of New Mexico" by Larry Littlefield and Pearl Burns for identification. (Neither one of us could be considered a botanist!)

Trained botanists or not, the photos are a delightful guide to the natural beauty of our mountains. I encourage you to give them a look.
