[Volunteers_fosm] Painting Thurs. instead of Tues.

Hello Painters,

This week painters can help with a FOSM project in Balsam Glade Picnic Shelter by coming to the FOSM Guard Station on Thursday to apply either wood preservative or paint to a 12-inch diameter by 48-inch post or to seven 6-inch diameter by 22-inch posts to replace posts that are rotten. We will also be painting a 6-inch diameter by 6 foot round beam for this project.

Joelle Hertel and Sam Beard are leading this project. (We may be doing a project similar to this one at Doc Long PA where there are about 16 rotten short posts under the horizontal beams in the two modern shelters.)

No painting on Tuesday.

On Thursday, meet at 8 am at the FOSM Guard Station behind the Ranger Station. Wear paint clothes and bring lunch and snacks.
