[Volunteers_fosm] FOSM project to split rounds at Capulin Snow Play Area, Wed., May 21

Hello Everyone,

On Wednesday, May 21, the FOSM project will be splitting rounds in the Capulin Snow Play Area. Most of the trunks here have already been bucked. We will be using Jerry Carroll's pickup to haul one large alligator juniper trunk from the horse trailer parking lot and to also haul a few rounds from the Bird Log/lower restroom area of Capulin Picnic Area. We will be using Lou Romero's power splitter.

We will be using wheelbarrows to move some rounds a short distance to the parking lot.

Bring or wear PPE for chain saw use — chaps, hard hats, work gloves, long sleeved shirt, long pants, eye and ear protection, and hiking boots with slip-resistant soles. Also, bring snacks, lunch, and drinks.

Meet at 8 am at the FOSM Guard Station behind the ranger station.
