Hello Everyone,

On Wednesday, Nov. 19, the FOSM project will depend on weather conditions.

The first option is to return to the Crest area and load more wood on Mike Oliver's trailer. Working on the hillside is difficult enough with good weather conditions. Working on a wet or snow covered hillside would be unsafe.

If we cannot work in the Crest area, we will work at Doc Long Picnic Area loading several piles of brush that we cut there a few weeks ago. We will need a pickup or pickups (or trailer) to haul the brush to the transfer station.

I have talked with Lou Romero about these plans, and he will be in contact with Mike Oliver about hauling wood on Wednesday. We will decide on Tuesday evening where we will work on Wednesday.

Meet at 8 am at the FOSM Guard Station behind the ranger station.

Wear or bring long pants, long-sleeve shirt, warm jacket, hiking boots, hard hat, work glovers, eye and ear protection, snacks, drinks, and lunch.
