[Volunteers_fosm] Splitting and hauling donation wood from near tower site on Crest, Wed., April 15

Hello Everyone,

On Wednesday, April 15, FOSM volunteers will be splitting, loading, and hauling donation wood near the Crest Electronic Site in Mike Oliver's trailer. Lou Romero and I are assuming that the Crest Highway will still be open on Wednesday.

Last fall, we left a few piles up there because snows came earlier than expected. I want to haul as much wood as possible so that it does not decay more during the Crest-area closure for the thinning/masticating project that will be 1 to 2 years.

Meet at 8 am on Wed. at the FOSM Guard Station. We will plan to start loading Mike's trailer at about 9 am.

Wear long pants, a long sleeve shirt, and boots with slip-resistant soles. Bring a jacket for cool morning temperatures, work gloves, hard hat, snacks, lunch, and drinks.
