[Volunteers_fosm] Volunteers to remove graffiti tags at Crest restrooms, Saturday, August 22

Hello everyone,

Julie Padilla, SRD Recreation Staff Officer, sent me the following email:

"I was told that there is graffiti up on both restrooms at the crest area. Now that the road is open, I would like to try to keep up appearances up there. Do you think you would be able to take care of it?"

I would like to remove this graffiti on Saturday morning, August 22.

We will meet at the FOSM Guard Station behind the Ranger Station to collect the chemical and water to remove these tags. We will be applying the chemical with brushes and removing the residue with the FOSM low pressure battery-powered water washer.

Pauline Ho and Rick Buss who usually help remove graffiti are out of town.

If you are interested in helping remove these tags, please me know by noon on Friday, August 21.

This project is an opportunity to see parts of the recently thinned forest and help maintain the good appearance of the Crest area.
