Hello Everyone:

Yesterday, March 25, 2019, the FOSM Trails Crew, using a chainsaw, crosscut saws and other hand tools, removed a total of 25 fallen and hazard trees from Bill Spring trail, a section of Faulty trail between Bill Spring trail and Oso Corredor trail and a section of Oso Corredor. These trees ranged in size from 3 to 23 inches in diameter. The weather was brisk in the morning, warming considerably by the afternoon. Trail conditions ranged from moist to muddy with small sections of icy or slushy snow, depending on time of day.

Due to the scope of work and the number of participants, the volunteers were divided into two crews. One crew consisted of Rav Nicholson, Ken Nicholson, Byron Garner, Cliff Giles, Dave McCreery, Jerry Pekarek, Jim Levesque and Bob Lowder. The other crew was made up of Lou Romero, Bet Gendron, Carl Smith and Sam Beard. Sam Beard will issue a separate email to report activities for his crew.

Please see attached Word document for photos and additional narrative.  All photos were by Cliff Giles.
