Hello Everyone,

What started out as a day of just a "recon" hike to verify downed trees on Faulty Trail, Sulphur and Bill Spring Trails, turned into a different kind of hike.  Fist of all, Bob and I removed 2 encroaching small trees on Faulty Trail.  We also removed one small 4" tree leaning and hung-up across the trail.  It was only a matter of time that this tree would be down.  So, the trusty 21" Corona saw proved perfect to remove this tree.  I can report, that as of 5/24/19, Faulty Trail from Cienega to Bill Spring Trail, Sulphur and Bill Spring are free of any downed trees.  There are a few hang-ups along Faulty, but they are well-supported and not coming down anytime soon.

Since this was not a day of working in the dirt, mud and boulders (Thanks trails crew!), we turned this hike into a fun, stop and smell the flowers hike.  Awesome finding flowers that haven't bloomed well over the dry years.  I am including a few of the flowers we saw.  Hope you enjoy them.
