The Friends of the Sandia Mountains (FOSM) led a trail crew up to work on the Cienega/Armijo Trails Improvement Project (CATIP). Hot weather has arrived and we ended the session in the mid-80s. Time to break out the insulated water bottles or guzzle warm water.

Today the crew completed the upper portion of TC08 and started to work their way up TC06. The goal is to connect to Faulty Trail, #195. Today's session pushed CATIP from 64% to 65% complete.

The crew of sixteen volunteers were Eric Russell, Jeff Huser, Bruce Hansche, Jim Houle, Mark Grazier, Claudia Bergsohn, Rav Nicholson, Peter Doane, Lorna Morrow, Roland Stumpf, Dave Harding, Steve Roholt, Pat and Mike Madden, and Betsy and Bob Galloway.
