Hi Bob and Sally,   Yesterday, June 20th, I hiked the long route with a relative up La Luz Trail from the Tram Parking lot, and we took off 7 downed  trees up to 9" in diameter..  However, there are two  big ones down near the top that will require a crosscut crew to take them off,  as they are in the 14 to 16 inches range.   Have enclosed several pictures.  The first one from the top down is just below the Crest Spur trail and the junction  of the La Luz Trail.  Its about a 14" tree across the trail of La Luz.  The second tree is about 16"  is near the top of the "rock pile" area, but it is  down the La Luz some 6 or more switch backs down the La Luz Trail and will be a good hike down from the top!   Thanks,  Sim Cook ---------- Original Message ----------
