On Thursday, Sep 5, the Friends of the Sandia Mountains (FOSM) returned to the Cienega/Armijo Trails Improvement Project (CATIP) area. The crew, led by Russell Berman, Cibola National Forest and National Grasslands Resource Assistant (his final Thursday session on the Cibola!), continued to cut tread on TC04 (aka Vista Trail). Conditions were hot and dusty, but the bulk of the work took place in the shade and there was a nice intermittent breeze.

The eight volunteers were Jeff Huser, Mark Grazier, Steve Roholt, Bruce Hansche, Phil Cromer, Pat and Mike Madden, and Jenny Blackmore.
