The Friends of the Sandia Mountains (FOSM) trail crew was back working on the Cienega/Armijo Trail Improvement Project (CATIP), extending reroute TC04 to replace an unsustainable user trail. Approximately 0.17 mile of the 0.39 mile reroute is complete. The estimate of total CATIP completion creeps up to 74%.

The volunteer crew today were Eric Russell, Byron Garner, Jenny Blackmore, Betsy Kapiloff, Phil Cromer, Steve Roholt, Pat and Mike Madden, and Betsy and Bob Galloway.
