Tuesday 9/24, the FOSM painters job was at Oak Flat PA striping the large group area parking lot. This site can host up to 800 folks and has approximately 212 parking spaces separated into 11 areas.

Starting at 8:30am, Russ used the FS Stihl power blower to clear the spaces of dirt and debris. The painters followed along with our paint carts covering each line two to three times. Jane did the handicapped spaces using the large decal. Jane is also our truck driver moving the truck up so we could replenish our carts.

We were finished close to noon and went to the Locust PA to have lunch. After lunch we cleaned and striped the 31 spaces in this lot.
In past years it would have taken two work sessions to complete the Oak parking lot because we would have had to sweep the area using brooms. The Stilh power blower saved much time and energy.

FOSM volunteers were Sam Beard, Jane Harrison, Ellie & Russ Parker. Attached photos were taken by Sam.
