Hello Everyone,

On Friday, Nov. 15, Anne Hickman, Jane Harrison, and Sam Beard applied the first coat of Rust-Oleum white paint to the horse trailer that is used to haul various loads on the Ranger District.  Astute readers of past project reports might recognize that this trailer has featured prominently in past restroom roofing projects, although no horses were involved.

The green USFS paint on the trailer was faded, and unpainted steel mesh that had been welded to the trailer in four places was covered with a thin layer of rust. The white trailer now matches the color of USFS pickups.

Anne and Jane are planning to apply a second coat of paint to the trailer next week.
