Hello Everyone,

On Wed., Dec. 11, six FOSM volunteers cut willow brush at the entrance to Sulphur Canyon Picnic Area and at the junction of Cienega Road and the Crest Highway. Brush was cut at the highway intersection for improved sight distances for drivers on the two roads.

We used the small FOSM brush cutter and three chain saws. After the large FOSM brush cutter would not start, Don Carnicom went to his nearby home and returned with his personal brush cutter. We also cut brush at the entrance to Doc Long Picnic Area, where we ate lunch after completing the work.

The volunteers were Byron Garner, Jerry Pekarek, Dan Benton, Paul Karas, Don Carnicom, and Sam Beard.

Photographs of the project are presented in the attached Word document.
