Zoning Conversions

 



The City received over 1,300 forms from property owners taking advantage of the free zoning conversion process. Staff submitted eligible properties in two batches - Batch 1 in November 2018 and Batch 2 in May 2019. Each batch will be reviewed/decided in three steps, with hearings open to the public:

·     Step 1: Environmental Planning Commission (EPC) - Review and recommendation 

·     Step 2: City Council’s Land Use, Planning, and Zoning Committee (LUPZ) - Review and recommendation 

·     Step 3: City Council - Final decision

Batch 1 will be heard by the City Council's Land Use, Planning, and Zoning (LUPZ) Committee on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at 5 p.m. in the Vincent E. Griego Chambers in the basement of City Hall as step 2 of 3. Parking will be validated.
