Just a quick addition ~ if you are able to pull them out by their
roots while they are still green, that should nix any seed problem (from
those plants, of course).

We probably all know that if you water the
area a little bit the night before, it makes the pulling really easy
(foxtails come up easily anyway, but mega easy when the soil is damp).

Great to hear about the household vinegar! I might try that on some
invading bermuda grass (I know, laughs abound : ) just to see if it
slows it down.

Agriculture, VINEGAR KILLS green FOXTAIL, especially when the WEED is
young. During the first two weeks after green FOXTAIL emerges, pour or
spray a 5- to 10-percent VINEGAR solution on the WEED. Household
distilled white VINEGAR typically is a 5-percent solution.

glyphosate: 'nuff said--still won't eliminate because new seeds will fly

prevalence of foxtails in our Nob Hill lawns. I have that condition in
my lawn. I posted an inquiry as to the best way to deal with the problem
but have seen no responses. Comments would be appreciated. Thank you.
