Procedures for Special City Council Meeting on Wednesday, September 16, 2020
In response to the Governor’s declaration of a Public Health Emergency and ban on large public gatherings, the Special City Council meeting on Wednesday, September 16 at 3:00 p.m. will be held via Zoom video conference. The Special Meeting will address the 2019 Integrated Development Ordinance (IDO) Annual Update. National Voter Registration Day Coming Up!
On Tuesday, September 22, Americans will celebrate National Voter Registration Day with a massive cross-country effort to register voters well in advance of Election Day this November. The Bernalillo County Clerk's Office encourages everyone to make sure they are registered and that their registration is up to date. There will be four locations open across Albuquerque between 10:00 a..m. and 2:00 p.m. that day to get folks registered, to update voter registration information, and to share other election and voting information:

Bernalillo County’s National Voter Registration Day activities are being conducted in compliance with the N.M. Public Health Emergency Order to mitigate the risk of spreading COVID-19. Social distancing, hand hygiene and cleanliness protocols shall be followed by staff and Voter Registration Agents and everyone will be required to wear a mask or face covering. Hazard Mitigation Survey Asks for Community Feedback to Prepare for Possible Disasters
The City of Albuquerque and Bernalillo County, in collaboration with the Albuquerque Metropolitan Arroyo Flood Control Authority (AMAFCA), the Village of Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, the Village of Tijeras, the Middle Rio Grande Conservancy District (MRGCD), and the Albuquerque/Benalillo County Water Utility Authority (ABCWUA) is updating its Hazard Mitigation Plan, in an effort to be better prepared in the event of natural, or human-caused disasters and want your input. Please take this short, five-question survey online and share your thoughts about how our community can better prepare for hazards before they occur. Responses will be taken until September 30.
