-Saturday, Feb.26 Nob Hill will receive 100 free fifteen gallon trees from
ABQ Neighborwoods/Tree NM with support from Councilor Pat Davis. All 100
trees have been adopted thanks to our Tree Canopy Restoration Committee’s
awesome volunteers. They will be planted by volunteers from Tree NM and
Dakota Tree Project. Kudos to Marc and Pamela Weese Powell of Dakota Tree
Project, our committee chairs.

-Saturday, March 5th 100 five gallon trees will be given away followed by a
neighborhood celebration. See https://www.nobhill-nm.com/events/ for
details.

-Last Friday, Feb. 11, NM Historic Preservation Division listed Nob Hill’s
1925 Granada Heights and 1947 Broadmoor Addition as historic districts in
the NM Register of Cultural Places. This makes contributing houses in the
districts eligible for NM 50% tax credits for renovation and eligible to
display NM Register plaques. Details will appear in Spring Nob Hill
Neighborhood Newsletter.
