-Your neighborhood association is exploring work to be taken on in 2022. Chairs will be advising you of upcoming focus committee meetups to do this. -Nob Hill will receive 100 free trees from ABQ Neighborwoods with support from Councilor Pat Davis. The area between Carlisle and Washington is the focus for this round. Focus is on front yards. Trees will be planted for you. You agree to water them. Huge thanks to Marc and Pamela Weese Powell, chairs of NHNA Tree Restoration Committee and Dakota Tree Project. Deadline to sign up is Feb. 12. Special Procedures for Special City Council Meeting on
January 10, 2022

In response to the ongoing Public Health Emergency, the Special City Council Meeting on Monday, January 10, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. will be held via Zoom video conference. City Closures for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

The City will observe Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day this Monday, January 17. Most City offices will be closed, but some services will still be offered. There will be regular trash and recycle pickup, regular bus and Sun Van paratransit service, the BioPark, golf courses and swimming pools will be open, and the 311 Call Center will be operational that day. Services include: blood pressure & diabetes screening; health assessments; counseling related to nutrition, health problems, aging process, medication management; diabetic self-management education and more.
