[Neighbors] Is your Century Link phone service working?

We were having about two weeks ago the static problem too and then it went dead.
There is no way anymore to talk to anyone at Century Link who can get a technical out.
I tried the web line reporting a problem, it went no where.
On phone calls they just pass us along from one person to another.
Last week I got a call from a technician who said they whole area was having problems due to a cable break under Central at Amherst.
He said the city would not let them dig it up but they hoped to have it back working, last Friday.
Still we have no phone line service.
They said they would create another repair ticket.
I was wondering from what the tech said last week if the problem is more than they said.
They keep making promises to send someone out here to the house but then cancel it and reschedule for another week away.
