Holiday Water Saving Tip from ABCWUA

  _____

The holidays usually mean family gatherings, lots of cooking and baking, and plenty of cleaning. You can save water in your home by only running your dishwasher when it's full! There is also usually no need to pre-rinse your dishes; just let your dishwasher do its job and conserve this precious resource. For more ideas on water conservation during the holidays and beyond, visit: <https://cabq.us20.list-manage.com/track/click?u=b697b563bdb0acc3e117a1409&id=9868131917&e=44d9523a23> www.abcwua.org

Reminder to Neighborhood Associations and Coalitions:
60-Day Notice for Bylaw Submission to ONC

  _____

The City Council voted to update the Neighborhood Association Recognition Ordinance (NARO) in 2022, and neighborhood associations and neighborhood coalitions were given 18 months to update their bylaws and get them filed with the Office of Neighborhood Coordination (ONC). There is a 60-day extension of time for those associations and coalitions who have not yet submitted their bylaws to the ONC. Please note that the extension deadline for bylaws is Friday, January 26, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. Associations and coalitions who have not submitted their bylaws to the ONC by that date will become unrecognized until such time as they submit their bylaws to our office. A link to the NARO can be found <https://cabq.us20.list-manage.com/track/click?u=b697b563bdb0acc3e117a1409&id=56b1b04281&e=44d9523a23> here. Pet of the Week

  _____

The Animal Welfare Department is pleased to introduce Squeeks, ID# A1886204. Squeeks is a 1-year-old tan Dachsund mix who is a bit shy with new people but warms up beautifully with a little time. He is great on leash, is dog friendly and loves to chill on your lap as well as give lots of kisses. Squeeks is affectionate, gentle, mellow and easy going, and would be a great family pet. If you would like to get to know Squeeks to see if he could fit into your life, visit him at the Eastside shelter. To view and/or adopt pets, simply drop by any of the open locations. Anyone wanting to adopt a pet can visit: <https://cabq.us20.list-manage.com/track/click?u=b697b563bdb0acc3e117a1409&id=eaba35c40b&e=44d9523a23> www.cabq.gov/pets.
