[LWVNM Action] Action Meeting - January 14 at 4 pm

Hi, Rosa

See nmlegis.gov. There is a heading for committees.  Click on that, then on
a committee of your choice, and the members are there.  The committees a
bill will go to - well, that is a long topic!  It really depends on the
bill, though budget bills go to the finance committees, etc.  Dick will
probably explain it.  There is also "death by committee", which means if
the leadership doesn't like a bill they can assign it to 3 different
committees.  Bills have a hard time making it through this.
