Confusing because House & Senate are using different rules.

Latest on Testifying / Public Comment in the 2022 Legislative Session
Updated 1/18/22 updated

Commenting / Testifying at Committee meetings will once again be hybrid.
You can testify / comment virtually or in person (with some conditions)

To find out Committee hearing go here:
https://www.nmlegis.gov/Calendar/Session
and click on the relevant link. It should give you instructions on how to
make public comment virtually.

In person testifying / commenting in person in the Senate Committee: You
can go to the Committee room and speak. There may be some limitations on
the number of people in the room.

In person testifying / commenting in person in the House Committee: You can
go to the Committee room and speak. There may be some limitations on the
number of people in the room. The Committee will provide you with a device
to speak so people listening on line can hear you. Committee members will
mainly be participating by Zoom. *They are allowing the public to speak in
person because they may be up there for Senate Committee hearings that will
be in person. If you only want to testify / comment at the House hearing
probably best to do virtually. *

Of course, you can always just watch any proceedings via webcast. Just go
here:

Be patient, not all hearings happen on time.
