[LWVNM Action] Governor line item vetoes much of HB547 - leave Child Tax Credit intact

The Governor line item vetoed much oif HB547 - Omnibus Tax bill saying she
was concerned about the loss of revenue that may cause cuts in vital
programs if revenue goes down in later years. A legitimate concern.

The Governor left the increase in the Child Tax Credit intact.. This was a
priority for the League of Women Voters.

Congratulations to our friends at NM Voices for Children for their advocacy
on the CTC.
