What a good session it was! Social policy advancements and poverty
alleviation won big time.
Many educators are relieved that she vetoed HB126 reducing the number of
credits required for graduation, especially since instructional hours were
increased.
Folks will debate a few of the vetoes, but MLG knows that the level of
expenditures authorized this session required her to protect the budget and
reject unsustainable tax cuts.Front and center is her understanding that
record oil and gas revenues will not be available in the future because we
are draining the Permian Basin so fast.

Thanks so much for organizing our efforts.
