I'mgoing to plagiarize LWVSNM priorities & suggest they are added to Environment/Water:
·   Restorepersonnel in the state’s water agencies to implement the 2023 Water SecurityPlanning Act.
·   Provideadditional funds to the state’s agencies under the Water Data Act of 2019 andfor aquifer mapping by the Bureau of Geology & Mineral Resources.
·   Fundloans/grants to initiate collaborative regional water planning efforts toprotect our declining aquifers and stream systems

Dick, I hope that environmental legislation, especially re water resources, gets major attention by the legislature and by LWVNM. I understand that water will be on the governor’s call.
