Charles Sallee – Director of the Legislative Finance Committee (LFC)

Charles was appointed Director in August of this year. He has beenat LFC since 2005 and Deputy Director since 2010. Prior to that Charles was apolicy analyst in the Texas legislature and before that, a social worker in LasCruces.

One of theleast publicized aspects of New Mexico’s finances are the various reserve andrevolving funds and the role they play in stabilizing New Mexico’s fundingstream. They help insulate from the volatile revenue fluctuations..
