Hello All
I will be unable to attend this evening's meeting but wanted to share
an update on the Housing Priority activity (RVSD doc is 1st attachment) .

Per a post-Session Housing legislation and funding update, I have modified
the 2025 Housing Bills Update doc we had previously sent out.
The HB2 funding to set aside $110 M (*item 40* on the 2nd attachment)
for *"Housing,
Affordable Housing, transitional housing and expansion of housing
services...for persons with behavioral health needs*"... was modified by
the Gov last Friday. The Gov amended/crossed out the Legislature's
directive that $80M (of the $110M) be given to ABQ City/Bernalillo County
and $10M be given to Las CrucesDona Ana County -- but the Gov did not
veto the *$110M allocation *as a whole.
I will continue to find out what/where the $110M for Housing will be
allocated and keep you all posted.

Best regards,
Janie McGuigan
