It's also a privacy nightmare, since the only way of proving age would mean every user would have to scan their drivers licenses or other ID and letting the social media companies have all that personal information, and then finding some way (face recognition?) to verify that the user is the same as the person in the ID photo, every time they log on.

But I don't think we have positions on either censorship or privacy (maybe we should), and I'm not finding anything related in LWVUS positions either.
