NEWSWIRE -- Helicopter Schedule at Whitmore Wash Released for April

Papillon Helicopters, Grand Canyon, Arizona has informed Grand
Canyon Private Boaters Association president Dave Yeamans that their
Bar-Ten operations schedule for April is now known. The helicopter
company transports passengers from the Colorado River in Grand
Canyon to the Bar-Ten ranch nearby.

"The schedule has just been released this morning," said John
Becker, general manager of Papillon. "I wanted to let GCPBA know as
soon as possible so that their constituents could plan accordingly
to avoid helicopter noise. That way people are going to be happier."

During April, Papillon will be flying passengers from the Whitmore
Wash  helipad to the Bar-Ten airstrip between 8:00 a.m. and 11:00
a.m. on six days in April. "Most operations will be done well before
11:00 a.m.," said Becker. "We will be flying that operation on April
14, 21, 23, 25, 27, and 28."

While it is probably too late for notifying river runners already in
the Canyon, Yeamans says that informed boaters launching from Lee's
Ferry in early April should be able to schedule their time at
Whitmore Wash to miss the helicopter times. "GCPBA thanks Papillon
Helicopters for keeping us informed. Knowing when and where to be
has always made the Grand Canyon river trip a better experience,"
said Yeamans.
