Atom Crawford has put together another ACA Instructor Development
Workshop and Certification Exam the week of Aug 21-24 on the Rio Grande
Racecourse. Opportunities such as this in NM are rare...and so is the
price. RMOC and other places in CO frequently charge $450 or more.
Its natural for anyone who loves kayaking to encourage our friends,
family and coworkers to try it out. Their experience is directly related
to our ability to convey the information, while making it fun,
safe, entertaining and educational. This 4-day workshop will teach you
how to deliver the information in a way that builds confidence in your
students on the water, and in you as their instructor.
Whether you are interested in becoming an instructor, or simply
interested in developing your skills, you'll learn a lot through this
class and become an asset to the boating community. The first two days
will be spent on skills development and teaching progression. Video will
be used throughout the day to evaluate your existing skills and hone
them in before the exam. The third and fourth day we will be evaluated
on various assigned topics. The evaluation will include skills,
technical knowledge and presentation abilities.
I'm trying to help Atom spread the word. We need a few more people to
confirm the class. If you're interested, please shoot Atom & I an email
at atomcrawford at gmail.com

There are still spots open in the Aug 21st-24th Kayaking ACA class. The
cost is 295.00 bucks and is a deal at that price. Please pass this info
on. If interested, I need to Know by this Thursday, Aug 14th. This
course is hardly ever offered in NM. It will improve your kayaking
skills tremendously.
Thanks, Atom.. 505-670-8599 day Leave a message or after 8pm
