Wow, what a great idea and a fabulous result. I don't know why we didn't think of them before, they have always been friendly and connected to the club since Marcel was there. Good thinking, bravo!

Hey Everyone, So we have negotiated a new pool arrangement with Kirtland AFB which, given some of your request for earlier pool hours, lower cost, etc. is about as good as we will ever get in this life time. Here is what we have:1. Weekly pool sessions2. $30 per session3. No contract4. A pool to ourselves5. Indoor all year long6. Great facilities (hot water showers, more than one sink and toilet !)7. Life guard8. Pool hours from 6:30 to 8:30 (a really big plus and un-attainable anywhere else )9. And, which is more, a really nice bunch of people in the Out Door Rec. Program who are very welcoming to the Club and actually want us there The only thing we have to give up to get all this is the INITIAL easy access. Each of us is going to have to have a pass to get on post which is issued on a yearly basis after we have provided the
PM with some pertinent information. We will be back to you all shortly with a New Pool Schedule and instructions about what you need to do to obtain a pass. I really hope this meets with everyone’s approval and meets everyone’s needs as well. It is a far better deal than I ever expected we could get and we all owe John Coddou a thank you for this. It was he who took the initiative on his own to check out the pool and has been its constant advocate. THANK YOU, John …… you done good. Bob
