[Awclist] Members needed for Board of Directors or as volunteers

It is Spring and hopefully folks are starting to think about boating 
(most permits are due to mailed before 1/31) and to projects the club 
could use help with.

Although we are over 250 members ( more when you count family members) 
most of our help comes from less than 15 families. We continue to be 
hopeful that members will volunteer some of their time to help with the 
basics of club duties: Board membership ( 3 open positions), membership 
database, accounting, checking post office boxes, making membership 
cards and answering membership questions, listserve maintenance, monthly 
and clinic reports to ACA, the monthly pool access lists to the Air Force.

The list above are all the things that two people are doing right now - 
that is not fair, nor should they be spending a lot of their free time 
on club business. None of the above tasks are hard to learn or take a 
lot of time individually, only when you are doing it all does it get to 
be a real burden.

There are also the weekly Alb pool sessions, monthly meetings, clinics, 
to name just a few (sorry to anyone that I've forgotten).

The club needs for members to step up and become a part of the club - 
not just telling the Board what the club should be doing, but helping 
the club do what is required.   So - email   flipline at comcast.net    and
