If you think the low water means no races this weekend, think again! We're rearranging things some but they're still on, including all the River Rendezvous presentations Friday. The slalom events will likely be short (less than 10 gates surrounding Sleeping Beauty. The Mother's/kids race is on with Far Flung and Los Rios bringing 8 tandem fun yaks for those who need to borrow a boat. The schedule, and opportunity to buy raffle tickets are here:

Stretch sent me a VHS tape of PM magazine's coverage of the races in 1980 (I think that's the year - still trying to confirm that), there is no kayak coverage (slalom or downriver). There were slalom events in 1981 and 82. Adobe first sponsored the race in 1983 (Stretch was still the organizer) and there were a record 265 racers!
Come on up and jump in a race or just spectate! The water bumped up to 300 today!
