[Awclist] down river kayak race tomorrow

Hey paddling enthusiast,

The Mothers Day Rio Grande Whitewater Festival begins today and goes 
through this Sunday! If you haven't checked out more details, you can

There are a lot of really interesting and new activities to make this a 
fun event for all including bird walks, river races, river rodeos, 
speakers talking about various water topics, book signings, music, 
parties, camping and more!

For those interested in going as a group to the kayak down river race:

Christine will be meeting anyone who wants to join others at 9:15am at 
the Rio Bravo Campground to register, $20 per person for first event 
(discounts if you will participate in subsequent events). Come introduce 
yourself and meet other local paddlers who will participate or watch.

While a race, it is meant to be fun and is appropriate for anyone with 
the skills and comfort to go down the Race Course.They will be starting 
small groups in 30 second increments from one another. The more the 
merrier so I hope to see you there, either on the river or cheering from 
the river's edge!
