1. The course has been swept by the county/state. I and team mates will be on the course on Thursday morning cleaning up anything that may have been overlooked by the sweepers. Additionally, volunteer sweepers will arrive early Saturday morning to circumnavigate the course one last time to ensure that all debris has been removed.

2. Any and all serious divots, potholes and cracks in the pavement will have been filled with quickcrete by Thursday afternoon

3. Any serious obstructions will have been removed from the sides of the roads

4. Corners will be coned

5. There will be sheriff’s deputies at all major intersections as well as a roving sergeant. Additionally, corners will be manned by volunteer marshals with flags and signs

6. There will be some parking available to spectators on Sedillo Hill Road west of the start rollout and east of the finish line, on the south side of the road. This is a public road free of any structures. Look for the flag marshal

7. When racers have finished crossed the finish line (or DNF’d or in any other way not racing any more), they should leave the course IMMEDIATELY

8. Numbers should be worn on the LEFT side of the jersey. The finish line will be located on the south side of the road. The yellow lines will be coned to prevent any crossover.

9.There is a new safety barrier immediately west of the right turn from Mountain Valley to 333. Exercise caution.

10. While riding west on 333 toward Sedillo Hill Road, please move onto the shoulder as soon as you can. There will be cones located at the point at which the CR and I believe is the right place to do so

11. The feed zone is located at the north end of Mountain Valley and is intended to be neutral. The water bottles that will be used are intended for all racers. No one will be permitted to use the water bottles provided at the feed zone solely for friends, team mates or significant others, etc. People wishing to help in that manner should plan to bring their own refreshments to hand up. The feed zone has been mowed in order to provide a clearer view for volunteers and racers.

12. Registration closes tonight

If I have forgotten something, I apologize.

Thanks,
Woody
