Unlike last year, doesn't look like the FS is closing the whole of the La Luz road climb, just the bit near the top after the stone pillars. Santa Fe USFS lands are indeed still open, but in the absence of rain this week we all know how long that's likely to last.

Howdy,

As you probably already know the USFS lands on in the Sandias and Cedro/Otero are closed.  All Albuquerque Open Space lands are, as far as I can tell open.  Foothills are open.  As far as East Mountains stuff goes, there are a fair amount of trails in the Juan Thomas Open Space, (East of Oak Flat, more or less the east half of the Oak Flat NMORS race) that would still be open.  There area also a few trails in the neighborhood east of mailbox hill that are managed by Abq. Open Space.  Santa Fe USFS lands appear to be open.  If you know of other closures/cool areas still open, please post it to the list.
