[NMCycling] Dumb smart trainer question - it keeps walking on me

It's very possible, especially if you are getting out of the saddle and shifting your weight around. The frame flexing might cause the trainer to twist and walk on it's feet. Set up a phone pointing at you from the back, do a ride that creates the condition, and then watch the video.
