Greetings to cyclists and multi sport athletes of all ages and abilities,Next Tuesday, April 11th, will be the first Tuesday night time trial of 2023. Meet at the intersection of Monte Rey Drive North and New Mexico State Road 4 at 5:50 pm. We will ride the 5.7 mile White Rock to Ancho Canyon Course. Strava trace is here. https://www.strava.com/activities/7422073194. The Strava segment is Ancho Time Trial. First rider starts around 6:00 pm. Weather forecast looks great with temperatures in the 70s and hopefully not too much wind.
1st time at a Tuesday Night TT or need a refresher of how things work-Please read on.1) There is no sanctioning from USA cycling or USA Triathlon at these TTs.2) There is no traffic control3) There are no bib numbers or timing chips.4) Prize money = entry fee = $0 for all.5) Riders of all ages , abilities, riding any kind of bike are welcome. I have been a participant/organizer of these TTs since 2013. I have seen speed demons in skin suits on TT bikes and riders who show up in regular shorts, a t shirt and tennis shoes on a mountain bike or hybrid bike. 6) Riders keep their own times. People may email their times to me or I will get them from Strava traces. 7) 6 PM Tuesday doesn't suit your schedule and/or you want to ride more than 1 TT per week? Ride the TT course at anytime that suits your schedule and send your time to me. Anyone else is welcome to organize a meetup at any time on any of the 3 courses we ride. Strava traces of the West Jemez Road Course and Ski Hill Road Course are below.
