Dear League of Women Voters of Central NM:

I am a League member as well as District 6 School Board Member reaching out
to ask for your help recruiting members to serve on the school board
redistricting committee. Interested community members in each district need
to reach out to their respective school board member. (that info appears
 below)

Your help publicizing this community  effort is much appreciated.

I am forwarding an email from our board of education services office
Executive Director regarding the recruitment of redistricting committee
members. *There is a deadline of Wednesday, 17 August 2022 to submit names.*
The document is attached at the end of this email.

Attached you will find a document that might help you in recruiting your
voting member and alternate for the Redistricting Committee from your
district.

Please submit your tentative names by this coming Wednesday, August 17,
for the executive committee to review to ensure that the voting and total
membership of the Redistricting Committee reflects a balanced
representation of the district before finalizing the Redistricting
Committee's membership. Be sure to include information about each person to
help executive committee members determine that there is a balanced
representation of the district.
