*An LWVCNM member will give a presentation *to students at Albuquerque High
School today, Monday, *October 5*.

*Early voting and same day registration* *begins at County Clerk offices*,
and in Albuquerque at the Bernalillo County Clerk Annex,
tomorrow,Tuesday, *October
6*. Any voter registrations done on paper (not at a polling place) or
online will be held until after the election.

*The October monthly meeting* is hybrid at noon this Thursday, *October 8*.

*LWVCNM will have a table *at Bookworks this Thursday, *October 8*, from
5:30 to 7:30 pm.

*LWVCNM will have a table *at the Bernalillo County Naturalization
Ceremony this
Friday, *October 9*.

*LWVCNM will have a table *at the Bosque Farms Farmers Market this
Saturday, *October

*An LWVCNM member will give a presentation *to a group at The Neighborhood
on Saturday, *October 10*, at 10 am.

*LWVCNM is having a Happy Hour* *in Corrales* on Wednesday, *October 21*,

*LWVCNM will have a table *at the Parkland Hills Neighborhood Association
Fall Festival on Thursday, *October 25* from 10 am to 4 pm.

*An LWVCNM member will give a presentation *to students at UNM on

29*.

*The next Drop-in Coffee* is scheduled for Saturday, *October 31*, from
10:00 am to noon. We invite you to join us to meet our volunteer
coordinators and learn how to make the most of your membership. It’s also a
nice time to catch up with other League members.

Mexico local Leagues. It also has the location of where the LWVCNM printed
Guides can be found after distribution this week.

*Coming this week - look for an email *announcing the LWVCNM Voter Guides
distribution days and times.

*People vs. Politics Community Screening | Saturday, October 10:*

*Join Common Cause New Mexico *for a community screening of People vs.
Politics <https://www.peoplevspolitics.com/>, a documentary about
grassroots reformers working across the country to change election systems
that have become increasingly partisan and divisive.

New Mexico makes a cameo in the film because the state has adopted
semi-open primaries, allowing unaffiliated voters to participate in a party
primary.
