Maybe he's referring to the liquor license situation (which is a separate issue)?

Tom,

In the past decade only one brewer's license has been opposed in Nob Hill. Thus, I am not sure what you are referring to here? You seem to be focused on a problem that does not really exist. S

Congratulations to our local New Mexico craft brewers for their wins at last week's Great American Beer Festival. Just as they overcame challenges and adversity so can our other local small businesses. At the risk of injecting factual observations into CERTAIN postings about supporting our local businesses that need an alcohol license, I offer these Denver examples that are fully relevant to Nob Hill.

The Governor of Colorado welcomed thousands of beer tourists to the festival and Denver Beer Week, and city tourism officials invested in an airport beer garden to show their support of the industry and its supporters. Neighborhoods like LoDo, RiNo, and Highlands all had restaurant and brewery events, and all were well-attended in true "mixed-use" settings.

For people who don't get out much, these real-world examples show what can be accomplished by neighborhoods and their businesses when CHALLENGES ARE overcome and a common goal achieved. Congratulations are due all around and a lot of lessons can be learned, by those willing to learn of course.

Tom
