*Pace Bike Share Program Launches in Albuquerque!*

You’re invited to the official launch of Pace Bike Share, Thursday, April
19 at 10:00 a.m. at Civic Plaza, and enjoy bike share demos, giveaways, and
more! This program will provide 250 bicycles for residents, visitors, and
students to make on-demand trips with just a tap on their smartphones. With
Pace, users will still enjoy the predictability of dedicated bike share
hubs in key locations, but they will now be allowed to lock the bicycles to
public bicycle racks as well. Download the free Pace Bike Share app from

*Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event *

In celebration of Earth Day residents of Albuquerque and Bernalillo County
are encouraged to bring their household hazardous waste to the 2018
Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event on Saturday, April 21 at
Advanced Chemical Transport (ACT) from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. For a

*Bernalillo County CIP Program Public Meetings*

Bernalillo County’s Capital Improvement Program (CIP) will host one more
informational meeting to inform the public about the 2018 – 2024 Capital

the November 2018 ballot. This week’s meeting takes place Tuesday, April 17

The excellent weather is allowing Albuquerque residents to begin spring
cleaning early this year. If you have large items that you want to schedule
for pickup by the Solid Waste Department, let the City know by using the
311 website or mobile app at: www.cabq.gov/ABQ311. The mobile app also
allows you to anonymously report graffiti, litter, and weeds.



*Community Policing Council (CPC) Meetings This Week*

Residents are strongly encouraged to attend one of the CPCs in Albuquerque

*Won’t You Be My Neighbor?*

Are there senior citizens in your neighborhood? Why not get to know them
and see if there’s anything you can do to help them? Seniors often have
mobility issues or may not have dependable transportation, so offer to help
pull weeds, take their trash to the curb on collection day, take them to
the grocery store, or even just leave them a note with your telephone
number. Sometimes knowing there is someone to call is all the help folks
need!
