[Neighbors] Street Lights

City Lume has the current contract for maintaining thoroughfare/city-owned lighting. PNM still maintains other neighborhood lighting. How can you tell which is which? Ya gotta call 😜. I’ve just been informed that 311 got the current map this week and should be able to tell/refer appropriately; but PNM is still the first call I’d make since they have been maintaining these and are technically on the hook as “last resort” under long-standing regulations.

I have already suggested my plan of the 3 Phase Lighting Solution for the City of ABQ. with the exception of certain historical districts like Nob Hill.

They maintain lights that are owned by a PNM And the city has contracted with a new vendor to retrofit our old outdated lights with the new LED version. There is a citywide schedule for that and you may have already seen them and some of our neighborhoods doing that work.

I called back again today and was told that it would take at least two weeks before anyone was able to get to the work order. It seems like a long time to correct the problem or maybe the new company that got the contract doesn't have sufficient staff to handle the needs. I was told that there were a lot of street lights that were out and it wo uld take some time to correct the problems
