Dear Neighbors,
I am not opposed to restaurants serving beer and wine, and have not opposed one in the past.
My understanding is that the distance waiver does not apply to beer and wine. Therefore, why does this applicant have to request a distance waiver if they are only applying for a beer and wine license? Moreover, the attached Notice of Public Liquor Hearing does not specify anywhere that the application is for beer and wine only.
In Sean Foran's response to Gary Eyster's question, he states he checked the applicant's request and that the "application [is] for a waiver to serve beer and wine."
The public was not given this information since we were not sent the application. I only received the Notice of Public Liquor Hearing and a link to the New Mexico Alcohol & Gaming Division Rules and Regulations highlighting the "Limitations on Restaurant License."

Nob Hill Neighbors,
Nob Hill Neighborhood Association (NHNA) has received the attached notice of public liquor hearing.
Your board of directors is setting up a neighborhood meeting, probably late this week, to hear your input and consider an NHNA statement to the Liquor Hearing Officer (LHO). We’ll put out the place and time as soon as it is set up. We plan to reach out to the applicant and Calvary Church for the meeting.
As stated in the notice you can address the LHO personally at the hearing on Friday, November 9 at 9 am.
Your ideas are welcome by emailing neighbors at nobhill-nm.com
and/or your board at theboard at nobhill-nm.com
Kind regards, Gary Eyster, President
